I had a wonderful experience at Sabai Corner Bungalows. the lush tropical setting made for a perfect retreat. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and their restaurant offered great food. I particularly loved the Massaman curry. However, the bungalows' locations up the hill meant a decent amount of stairs, which made getting to my room after a long day a bit challenging.

I had a wonderful six-night stay in a seafront bungalow that was clean and comfortable, with stunning views and lovely hammocks. While the steep interior steps were a bit daunting at times and I'd have appreciated some hand towels, the overall experience was quite enjoyable. The staff, especially Selma, really made my stay nice with their helpfulness and friendly tips about the island. The food was great too, with delicious options for breakfast and dinner that complemented the laid-back, bohemian vibe of the place.
